Yes I am still using Tracfone, it suits my living “Life On The Cheap,” lifestyle and the triple minutes I get on the LG800g with every airtime purchase means that if I purchase 60 minutes (One Hour) I get 90 minutes (three hours) of talk time, and any purchase over 30 minutes is valid for 90 days as well.
Texting is much easier than on the LG500g which has a mini keyboard with very tiny letters on it. I like using the virtual keyboard.
The touch response if good but don’t expect what you get with an iPhone
I added a 4 gig micro sd card and via the micro Usb I am able to download 3gp mobile movies and video to my cell phone [I recommend that you download these file first to your computer and scan them for viruses BEFORE transferring them to your phone and playing them. So far I have 10 movies and 15 songs plus about 30 photo, and I have only used 59 MB of the 4 Gig hard drive. Cool

Downloading and transferring videos from You Tube.
If you want to download videos from You Tube the best downlhelper for me is offered as an extension for Firefox. I use Video Download Helper. Get it Here.
You can download YouTube videos directly in Mobile 3gp format and if you connect the LG800g directly to your computer with a mini usb cable, it will act as a removable hard drive, so you can transfer the video file directly to the “videos” folder. Remember when you’re using Video Download Helper on Firefox to download videos from YouTube select “media” then select the “Mobile” option [3gp].
I can also download from virtually any online source that offers media. Granted so far You Tube is the only site where Video Download Helper for Firefox offers multiple formats, but I have downloaded movies from the various online free movie sites. Those only download in Flash Format, which I watch with the VLC player.
If you use Internet Explorer get the IE Download toolbar HERE.
I do not use Internet Explorer, so I don’t know if you can download in 3gp format. However the Video Download Helper is highly rated at download.com.

Firefox Default User Agent, User agent strings of Mozilla Firefox web browser allow web sites and web servers to identify which browser visitors used to browse the web page, and typically together with such as the application name, version, host operating system, and language. By changing user agent, sometimes, one can get access to restricted part of a website with extra contents that normally open only to bots, or search engine crawlers. This kind of area typical example is “Member Only” forums or sites that don’t want to lose out on search engine traffic. The User Agent also can download from websites that only allow downloads from mobile devices like iPhone or LG or many other mobile phones, because you can add those profiles to the user agent so that the website thinks it’s being accessed by a mobile device.
In Firefox, there are at least 2 ways to change the default user agent strings. The first way is by using User Agent Switcher add-on extension for Firefox, popularly used by MegaUpload hacker to bypass country download slot limit.
Once installed and restarted Firefox, simply go to Tools -> User Agent Switcher, and you will see a list of user agents which you can choose. By default there is only 3 user agents listed, namely Internet Explorer, Search Robots and iPhone 3.0. To add more, simply follow this steps:
- Go to Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Options.
- Then click on User Agents and then click on Add. Do a search for the “user agent” of a specific device on Google or Bing.
- Key in the necessary information for your custom user agent. For example, for MegaUpload toolbar user agent, try the following configuration:
- If you want to simulate surfing as Google search engine spider, try to add the following instead:
Description: Googlebot 2.1
User Agent: Googlebot 2.1
To fake as Apple iPhone’s Safari browser, use the iPhone user agent.
