Toshiba has recently announced the specification of its upcoming tablet, which is
expected to be another rival to Apple’s iPad.
The Toshiba tablet will have a 10.1 inch screen and weigh 1.7 pounds. This is quite interesting because many who thought that ipad had a big screen and heavy to hold will certainly feel it hard to hold it as well. However, the Toshiba’s tablet will certainly be very good for reading and viewing videos while on the move.
Toshiba’s tablet is also to feature the forthcoming Android OS, Honeycomb. The Honeycomb Android OS is more optimized for tablet devices, so all the applications can take advantage of the tablet’s larger screen. The Toshiba Tablet supports HD videos and flash videos as well.
The Toshiba Tablet will have Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB port, SD card slot, mini USB port, 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. Price is yet to be announced.
